London. Demonstrations to commemorate the eighth anniversary of the Grenfell Tower tragedy.

Several events are held in London on the eighth anniversary day of the Grenfell Tower tragedy.

9 June. Works by children related to victims or residing in the neighbourhood are shown at Tate Britain.

13 June. Green for Grenfell Day. Poems are read and saplings planted in purposely arranged pots equipped with labels. On Marco and Gloria’s one can read: “Nobody dies on Earth as long as they live in the hearts of those who remain”. 

14 June. The Silent Walk takes place near the tower, including the release of white doves as a peace symbol,
